Hi welcome in! Thanks for taking an interest in my website. My name is Nathan. I am a math enthusiast and computational science researcher. My specialties are using math to understand and model chemical reaction mechanisms, physical organic chemistry, quantum chemistry, photochemistry and to improve the computational efficiency of mathematical calculations.
Through the use of mathematics I have assisted in creating safer museum lighting for archival objects, enhanced chemical protein synthesis, developed methods to predict electron transfer for applications in photovoltaics and paint durability, and added to the understanding of self-healing materials.
I am passionate about math and science education on all levels! It took me a long time to realize just how much math can be applied to almost every type of problem. Since then, it has become a personal mission of mine to spread the use of mathematics in understanding, describing and making predictions about the world around us.
